Question 1

Do I need any CrossFit experience to join Black Wolf?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Most of our members walked in with zero CrossFit experience. Every workout is scaled to your ability level, so whether you've never touched a barbell or you've been training for years, our coaches will meet you exactly where you are.

Question 2

What happens at my first visit?

Accepted Answer

You'll start with a free intro session where you sit down with a coach, talk about your goals, and get a tour of the gym. There's no pressure and no obligation. It's just a conversation to see if Black Wolf is the right fit for you.

Question 3

What should I wear and bring?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and supportive shoes. Regular sneakers work fine to start. Bring a water bottle and a towel if you'd like. We have everything else you'll need.

Question 4

Is CrossFit good for weight loss and getting in shape?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our programming combines strength training, cardio, and functional movements that are proven to burn fat and build lean muscle. Pair that with our nutrition coaching and you have a complete system for transforming your body.

Question 5

How much does a membership cost?

Question 6

Where are you located and is there parking?

Accepted Answer

We're at 508 W Crosstimbers St in the Independence Heights neighborhood of Houston. There is parking available on-site. Pro tip: we're down a narrow alley, so it's easy to drive past the first time, so keep an eye out and arrive a few minutes early.

Question 7

Can I just drop in for a single class?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Drop-ins are welcome at $25 per class. Plan on arriving early so we can get you checked in and oriented. If you'd like to schedule your drop-in ahead of time, click the "Drop-In" link in the menu.
